Sustainability

Commitment, conscience and an environmentally friendly way of working

We are aware of the challenges faced by sustainable materials right now. The choice of raw material can in fact represent approximately 80% of the environmental impact.

Which is why we support initiatives which aim to improve transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain.

  • Reduced water consumption.
  • Reduced energy consumption.
  • Reduced chemical consumption.
  • Tanning free of chrome and heavy metals.
  • Approval of new solutions for traditional processes.
  • Control of fabrics and leathers by testing at designated laboratories.

Our factories comply with social audits such as BSCI and SMETA, ensuring transparency and compliance with the stipulated CSR codes of conduct.

Certificates

In fulfilment of the requirements of the Leather Working Group (LWG), our materials are produced at tanneries that prioritise efficient water use.

We are also committed to reducing energy and chemical consumption, and innovate in the traditional tanning process through sustainable solutions.
