Design

The Ualabi team have more than 40 years of experience in designing and producing leather garments, guaranteeing the utmost quality in every single one.

Our designs are born of our understanding of the raw materials and constant analysis of contemporary trends. Which is why we regularly attend trade fairs and events to keep up-to-date with the latest developments, which we can then share with our customers.

It is important to emphasise that the leather used in the fashion industry comes from livestock operations. The leather we use is a discard from the food industry.

Materials

We select leathers of the highest quality, specialising in the following:

Two-sided

Lambskin, worked on the wool side or two-sided: wool and skin. We guarantee the highest quality lambskin from different sources (France, England, Africa, Spain and Australia). Ualabi adapts to the needs of each model, offering different finishes such as nubuck, craquelure, printing, with curly or smoothed hair, among other effects.

Suede/Nubuck

Lamb, mixed, cow or goat leather from Spain, France or the Middle East. We work with these qualities both for outer garments and accessories. We can achieve a wide range of finishes and thicknesses, from plongé nubuck for gloves and suede for shirts, to patent, greased or weathered effects.

Faux fur and fabrics

To adapt to new market circumstances, we strive to continue offering new solutions at all times. We therefore present our customers with garments that look like leather, but use synthetic hair, feathers and a combination of fabrics with materials from countries such as Korea and China. Driven by new trends and movements, we seek out increasingly sustainable and less environmentally harmful materials.

Recovered leather

To maximise leather usage, cut waste and reduce the environmental impact of our production, we also collect surplus leather from previous production processes, to be reused in recycled leather manufacturing. This leather is used in a wide range of products, such as wallets, jackets, shoes and other designs. We ensure that the materials we use and our production processes comply with GRS verification and certification standards throughout the supply chain, from the selection of recycled materials to our product development, production and labelling process.
